Ascender House Espresso
Ascend into your day with this deliciously smooth morning coffee. This Medium Roast is marked by balanced acidity with a full body and flavor notes of Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon, Graham Cracker, and Vanilla Cream. Developed for our house espresso, this blend of coffees is sourced from South America and Indonesia.
From South America, this natural processed coffee is grown on three direct trade and family-owned farms that value quality while working in tandem with their local environment. Coffees are grown in equal compliance with ecological, social and economic standards, thus providing a permanent livelihood for the coffee farmers and their families.
From Indonesia, this coffee is grown by seven farming groups: Fa Masa, Suka Maju, Ateriji, Paptaki, Papawiu, Mezamogo, Wongawali and is grown using organic farming practices. Pooling their resources of the last decade, these seven groups have improved processing their coffee using wet-hulling techniques (called “Ngura” in the Bajawan language) similar to those found in Sumatra.
Ascender is perfect in a portafilter but we also love it just as much when brewed for sipping from your favorite mug. “Espresso” is just one way to enjoy coffee, so go ahead and try these beans in the method of your choice. We promise you’ll love it any way you choose to brew!
